Couple: Cord and Tina
Okay, I am an All My Children fan. I could have picked a long list of couples who had chemistry on All My Children. But, the couple that immediately caught my attention and heart was the courtship and relationship between Cord Roberts and Tina Lord on One Life to Live. They were so different - playful, loose, and exuded a special chemistry between them that made you want more, more more!
So many great ones to choose from but my all time favorite couple would have to be Luke & Laura, it is because of their love story I fell in love with the Soap Genre!
ReplyDeletehands down TODD AND BLAIR they are the ultimate supercouple lasting 18 some years and still going strong. they are the ultimate soap couple to me and because of them fell in love with one life to live. i am glad they will live on on general hospital
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I fell for One Life To Live Original Todd and Tea because it was a done in such a UNIQUE way. I love that pairing; I always will. It was just something about them I really can't put my finger on. It left an impression on me. I love the chemistry between them you didn't know if they were going to explode or implode.

ReplyDeleteOriginal Todd and Tea they were a uniquely complex and fascinating work of messy, yet beautifully disordered art. I think that Todd and Tea are of a different breed and understand one another in a way that no one will ever understand them like they do one another. Todd has loved Rebecca, Blair, and had some kind of connection that was not romantic with Marty, his relationships with the opposite sex is not one of the norm because the character is one that has gone through struggles that seperate him from the typical soap leading man and in this case Tea matched him perfectly. In that pairing they showed that a leading man could play a lovestory without all of the things that a "lovestory" is supposed to consist of, though it didn't lack the flowery words of affection here and there and the occasionally kiss it was refreshingly different and I haven't seen anything like it in daytime. They were both searching for something at a time when it was impossible to find it because of the cards life had dealt them in bad relationships, but unexpectantly found love, it was a uniquely fascinating journey.

ReplyDeleteBo and Nora hands down. Bob and Hillary have so much damn chemistry and make them a believable couple. No other couple has ever affected me as much as them. I miss them so damn much.
ReplyDeleteluke and laura are legendary! i'm not a fan of elizabeth & lucky ever getting back together, but i loved how their relationship began. and my favorite couple over the past few years has been Dante and lulu. i think its the greatest pairing: a Corinthos kid and a Spencer kid.

ReplyDeleteI know I'm really different in this, but I loved Adam Chandler with Krystal Carey. The differences in them complemented each other so well. I've never seen such loving tenderness in Adam with anyone else. It was so sweet and funny when he had her trucker friends in for a party, and they called him "Frosty." She brought out a softness in him that I've never seen before or since. I was so sad when that love ended. When Adam built a bonfire and burned the baby's things, I think it was one of the most powerful, gut-wrenching scenes I've ever seen.

ReplyDeleteSnB!!!! Sonny and Brenda from GH! VMG and MB have chemistry like no other I've seen! They didn't needs words, their eyes said everything. Even when they hated each other they wanted each other. The writing was AMAZING for them and they were involved in the best love triangle ever! If GH sold their love story on DVD I would buy all of them no matter the cost. Words cannot express how much I love this couple and GH better bring VMG back to reunite Sonny and Brenda!

OLTL: so many wonderful couples: I would have to say that I enjoyed Todd and Blair, Todd and TEa, Viki and Clint, Tina and Cord, Bo and Nora, and Bo and SAra. My all-time favorites are Todd and Blair and Viki and Clint...
OLTL had such a great ensemble cast!
Days: I am a fan of the supercouple era from the 1980s and loved to watch the love stories of STeve and Kayla, Kim and Shane, Bo and Hope, and Jack and JEnnifer. EVen though I loved all four stories I liked Jack and JEnnifer the best.
General Hospital; Luke and Laura
All My Children: Jenny and Craig, Jesse and Angie, Zach and Kendall, and Tad and Dixie. I have always been drawn to Zach and KEndall the most.
Santa Barbara: Cruz and Eden and Mason and Julia
Guiding Light: Josh and Reva and Philip and Beth
My favorite romantic couples were Tina and Cord and Dorian and David.
