What is Your Favorite Soap Opera Town?

Soap Opera:  All My Children

Town:  Pine Valley, PA

My favorite soap opera town is Pine Valley, PA, home to All My Children.  I love Pine Valley because it is homey, elegant, and seedy at the same time, going from Tad Martin's home to the Pine Valley Inn to the Pinecone Motel.  I never realized how much commerce there was in Pine Valley!  There are a list of businesses, restaurants, hotels, clubs, bars, hospitals, and law enforcement groups in the town.  The best feature of Pine Valley though, beyond its residence and stories, is its close proximity to Llanview and Port Charles...

  2. Pine Valley for me, also, because All My Children is my favorite soap. Pine Valley has every kind of feature and business imaginable, even a beach! Where is the beach in PA, anyway? LOL

  3. Soap Opera:General Hospital

    Town:Port Charles, NY

My favorite soap opera town is Port Charles, NY home to General Hospital. It is large while not being inner city has its share of big city problems like mob wars, murders explosions and such. It also has things that make it famous like the Cassidines who wanted to use the Ice Princess to hold the world for ransom, threatening to send the world into a new ice age. Most of all there are the people. Where else can you have LUKE SPENCER, SONNY CORINTHOS,TODD MANNING,JOHN MCBAIN, JASON MORGAN AND ROBERT SCORPIO? Only in port charles and by the way paraphrasing Todd Manning Why is it called Port Charles when there is no port???

  5. Collinwood from Dark Shadows. I love it so much that I've travelled to most of the actual filming locations.

  6. Collinsport, Pine Valley and Llanview. Collinsport because there's vampires, werewolves and witches there. Pine Valley and Llanview because they are small towns that i could picture myself living in and they are close in proximity to each other. I'd like to own a house in the neighborhood that Ruth and Joe Martin lived because it would be comfortable with nice neighbors and the houses were nice but not too big.

  7. Pine Valley for sure. It's magical. After watching for years, all of a sudden a beach and an ocean appeared out of nowhere. You gotta love that!

  8. I like Pine Valley. It gives a touch of the picket fence community with a touch of Hollywood and New York.

  9. I would say Pine Valley and Port Charles. Pine Valley because it is a small town, but still has a boat club and fancy places to eat. It also has a very mansions. But the people seem down to earth and family oriented.

Also Port Charles, because it is on the waterfront, and I like the dock and boat landing area. I also like Kelly's diner, a place I would go. They have a very modern hospital, and do not put their patients in supply closets like other shows. They also have a few cabins in the woods, and nice penthouse suites! Yeah and a classy hotel!

  10. Collinsport, definitely, followed by Maljardin and Llanview. That would be Dark Shadows, Strange Paradise and of course, OLTL.
